In the role of a Portfolio Director and Breakthrough Improvement Consultant, KINDUZ is looking for leaders who can work full-time at Client Locations, for extended periods of time (up to 26 months per customer or more), to support Customers and their teams to deliver ‘Unmatched Outcomes with True Intent’, through Strategy Creation, Strategic Improvements (Breakthrough Improvement Projects, Continuous Improvement Projects and others) on the ground.

In this role, you will be involved right from Strategy Creation for the organization, selection of the initiatives to focus on, assisting the team in collecting data, drawing inferences, identifying the solutions and control mechanisms and ultimately delivering ROI for the Customers. You will be accountable and responsible for ensuring projects are successfully implemented and deliver the ROI.

At the end, the success of the Initiative will be measured by the amount of ROI that the customer has achieved and the leadership capability we have been able to build within the Customer’s organization to ensure sustenance into the future. KINDUZ defines ROI as:

Primary Ownership, Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Deliver the committed ROI to the customer in a measurable, sustainable and ethical manner
  • Strategy Formulation and Review:
    1. Lead review and formulation of customer’s business strategies
    2. Act as sounding board to business leaders
    3. Champion the use of strategic tools: scenario planning, portfolio optimization, stress test, etc.
    4. Identify initiatives that enable the highest possible returns with the least amount of investments
    5. Carefully identify capable Change Agents within the organization to spearhead these initiatives, engage them and challenge them
  • Strategic and Breakthrough Projects: Lead or support customer’s strategic projects in areas such as:
    1. Performance improvement
    2. Productivity improvement
    3. Cost optimization
    4. Market expansion
    5. Restructuring
    6. Post-merger integration (PMI), etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting according to needs and expectations, keep Executive Team informed, and demonstrate commitment to open communication to fully participate in organizational problem-solving, decision making and strategic planning
  • Provide sense of urgency for results through program and project reviews and metrics (Formal project review process)
  • Track and report ROI on continuous basis
  • Mentor customer’s leadership level, Project Sponsors, Process Owners, Project Change Agents in the use of breakthrough improvement methodologies, continuous improvement methodologies, and remove barriers for projects as well as assisting in the evaluation of all Stakeholders
  • Develop and conduct trainings and other activities with the as required
  • Successfully manage cross functional stretch projects across organizational boundaries
  • Undertake Sales and Solutioning with potential customers; leverage the current customers of KINDUZ among other marketing activities
Tool Skills

Base Location of Work and Travel Requirements
  • Cairo, Egypt to start with
  • Ability to relocate immediately to anywhere in the world
  • Open to travel 100% of the time
  • Travel to other countries as required
Work Permit
  • Legal authorization to work in India is required
  • KINDUZ will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in India for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening
Education
  • A Master’s degree in Business Management from an authorized institution of the country of certification
  • A Bachelor’s Engineering degree
Certification

Work Experience

    • 15+ Experience in Strategy, Sales and Business Development, Consulting, Planning and Operations with P&L accountability and responsibility
