Role Family Continuous Process Improvement
Role Just Do It Project (JDIP) Consultant
Role Overview Drive continuous improvement culture in KINDUZ client’s organization. Identify issues and challenges, lead and facilitate improvement projects, measure and validate project results, and facilitate successful implementation of all facets of organizational improvements and changes identified.

In the role of a JDIP Consultant, KINDUZ is looking for individuals who can work at Client Locations to support clients and their teams to deliver Just Do It improvement projects (JDIP) on the ground (which include but not limited to Action Workouts, Kaizen Projects, 5S Projects, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and/or Green Belt Projects). You will need to be involved right from generating ideas, selection of projects to assisting the team in collecting data, drawing inferences, identifying the solutions and control mechanisms.

You will be responsible for ensuring Just Do It improvement projects are successfully implemented and achieve the ROI. At the end, the success of the Initiative will be measured by the amount of ROI that the customer has achieved. KINDUZ defines ROI as:

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Deliver the committed ROI to the customer in a measurable, sustainable and ethical manner
  • Engages with
    1. Initiative Sponsors (typically the HR Head and Chief Financial Officer),
    2. Program Champion / Director, and
    3. Relevant stakeholders

    to guide, identify, prioritize, select, manage and facilitate delivery of Strategic Priorities and Outcomes from the JDIP initiative

  • Facilitate identification of key projects that
    1. Focus on goals, risks, issues, constraints, and opportunities of the customer
    2. Deliver quick results for the customer (typically from a few days to a maximum of 3 months),
    3. and at the same time build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ability to facilitate estimation of Return on Investment (ROI) and work with the customer finance team members to vet the ROI
  • Facilitates execution and delivery of outcomes of Lean Six Sigma projects by coaching respective associates, with a special focus on Quick Wins and Quick Returns, making a direct impact on the Quarterly Financials
  • Engages with the Portfolio and Program Management office (PMO) team of the customer to facilitate the program and projects. This will include, but not limited to,
    1. Identification and communication of program level and project level risks and issues along with the mitigation plan and contingency action plan respectively
    2. Building coaching skills for the PMO team
    3. Facilitate collection of data, tracking and monitoring of program level and project level metrics
    4. Facilitates publication of periodic (weekly and monthly) dashboard
  • Should have excellent coaching skills
  • Facilitates publication of relevant communication towards delivery of outcomes from the program
Self Performance Tracking
  • Specific Lead Metrics and Lag Metrics will be defined for each role in discussion with the Leadership team, to ensure alignment of work with the Organization Goals
  • These need to be tracked by one-self and the status reported against each Lead and Lag Metric, in the monthly Self Development Report (SDR) that is created, reviewed, finalized and filed on a monthly basis

Base Location of Work and Travel Requirements
  • Currently to start with at Cairo, Egypt
  • Open to travel 100% of the time
  • Travel to other countries within EMEA region or other parts of the globe as required
Work Permit
  • Legal authorization to work in Egypt is required
  • KINDUZ will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Egypt for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
Education
  • Mandatory
    • A Bachelor’s Engineering degree
  • Preferred
    • A degree in Business Management from an authorized institution of the country of certification
Certification
  • Mandatory
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from an internationally recognized body
  • Preferred
    • Project Management Certification from an internationally recognized body
Language Skills
  • Mandatory
    • Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic
Work Experience
